ZoneLink™ .S ZPA Module
The ZoneLink .S ZPA Module uses a microcontroller to commutate the Microroller, a 24 VDC brushless motor-driven conveyor roller. In addition to commutating the 24 volt BLDC motor, the ZPA module also provides:

• Zero Pressure Accumulation (ZPA), including advanced ZPA functions such as High Throughput ZPA, Train Release and Auto-Slave, reducing the need for PLC programming.
• Predictive diagnostics are embedded in the ZPA module and notify the operator that a motor-driven roller should be replaced, in advance of the roller failing.
• Closed-loop speed control holds roller speed at a constant value, improving the ability to tune and monitor the speed of a conveyor system.

The ZLS-AK11x family has input terminals for a sensor, keeping all wiring local to a zone, reducing wiring cost and complexity. The ZL.S-AK112 has an additional I/O interface to a manual work station release or for operating a mechanical brake on the Microroller.

The ZoneLink .S ZPA Module connects directly to a Holjeron Microroller, motor-driven roller and is linked to adjacent ZoneLink ZPA Modules using standard Category 5 patch cables (RJ-45).
