RF picking

Go paperless throughout all order picking processes in your distribution center with Lightning Pick Technologies’ RF Picking module. Available as a stand alone solution or fully integrated module of the Lightning Pick Product Suite, this solution offers a cost effective alternative for applications with a large number of products, and volume that does not justify a Pick-to-Light application.

Integration with the overall Lightning Pick Product Suite allows the user to configure some “areas” for RF picking and other areas for Pick-to-Light or Voice-Directed picking. All areas share a common host interface so that the higher-level systems (WMS and Business Hosts) view the pick area in a single unified process. Orders are allowed to flow freely between the different picking areas.

• Supports pick accuracy through using the optional confirmation bar code scans of the Pick Location Number, Product Number or both, before presenting pick requirement information to the picker.
• Supports multiple pickers in a zone/area for increased productivity. Our unique Skip-Pick functionality allows pickers to return to congested locations at a later time.
• The LP RF Picking module can be used with Symbol Technologies’ WT4000 (photo above) series of wearable mobile computers. Designed for manufacturing and distribution customers that require hands-free operation, the WT4000 series delivers increased productivity to industrial applications, including order picking.
