One method of substantially reducing walk time is to pick a “batch” of several orders at the same time. The key challenge for warehouse managers is to find a way to support an employee picking multiple orders while retaining the critical accuracy of each order.

The Lightning Pick Batch Picking Cart was designed as a solution to this challenge, and offers three distinct model configurations to meet your specific order picking process.

Our classic LP Cart features a Standard Laptop computer with color LCD screen, omni directional scanner for hands free scanning, up to 16 lighted order positions and a rechargeable mobile power pack. The system maintains communications with the Lightning Pick server through a wireless LAN network.

A second application uses the advanced Lightning Pick Cluster Pick features to pick multiple orders concurrently on a cart.

Lightning Pick has also introduced the newest concept in mobile cart technology - combining voice-directed picking, RF-based QC scanning and light-directed sortation to order to optimize batch pick operations.
