 Pick modules are usually at the heart of any large distribution operation. These systems are implemented when a client has a need to pick hundreds to thousands of orders daily from among hundreds to multiple thousands of SKU's. How it works is this: Two runs of carton flow racking are positioned facing each other with a powered conveyor line run down the middle. The workers fill the incoming orders from the pick positions in the carton flow rack and then place all SKU's in an order into a tote to be sent down the line to packaging or any other processing station before the order gets shipped.
